Following the success of last year's ASUS ZenFone Pegasus 3, ASUS Mobile has quietly launched its successor, the ASUS ZenFone Pegasus 3S, in China.

ASUS ZenFone Pegasus 3S

This device runs on the MediaTek MT6750 chipset with octa-core processor ticking at 1.5 GHz. It has 3 GB RAM and two options for internal storage - 32 and 64 GB. If that's not enough, you can go for microSD expansion.

The ZenFone Pegasus 3S has a 5.2" IPS HD display, is covered by a 2.5D glass top, and supposedly has very thin bezels for that high screen-to-body ratio. Aside from the aforementioned fingerprint scanner embedded in the physical home button, it also has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.

Two highlights of the device are actually the OS and the battery - Zenfone Pegasus 3S comes running Android Nougat 7.0 and sporting an ample 5,000 mAh non-removable battery.

The ASUS ZenFone Pegasus 3S is a dual-SIM device that supports VoLTE, WiFi, and 4G speeds. It will be available for purchase in POMP Mall this month, but no word yet on global launch.
