The Ulefone Armor is a popular smartphone from Ulefone and now the company has confirmed plans for a follow-up device which is aptly named the Ulefone Armor 2.

Ulefone Mobile has yet to confirm many more of the specs or details of what can be expected with the Ulefone Armor 2. Although the company does note that in addition to the MediaTek Helio P25, it will also come packing 6GB RAM. Therefore, power will likely be one of the clear selling points with this smartphone.

Of course, one of the main selling points with the original Ulefone Armor is that it was a device that was well protected against the elements and this seems likely to be a design point which will continue with the latest model, as the Ulefone Armor 2 will come equipped with an IP68 certification for protection against water and dust. Likewise, the attached images also seem to highlight that protection and durability will be key aspects with the Ulefone Armor 2. In addition, the images also highlight that the Ulefone Armor 2 will make use of a metal and plastic build, as well as additional hotkey functionality, due to the inclusion of six physical keys.

Ulefone has also confirmed that the Ulefone Armor 2 will be unveiled and formerly introduced alongside the Ulefone Gemini Pro and Ulefone Power 2 at this year’s MWC 2017 event- which is due to take place in Barcelona between February 27 and March 3.
