Vernee officially confirmed their presence at the upcoming MWC 2017 event. What's interesting is the company teased a phone officially saying that it will be the world's first smartphone powered by MediaTek Helio X30 chipset.

Vernee Apollo 2

2017 has kicked off and the OEM has revealed plans to launch a new smartphone at MWC 2017 that would be running MediaTek's very own Helio X30 processor and since this is a flagship SoC, we expect it to be powering the Vernee Apollo 2 Pro smartphone.

The Vernee Apollo 2 is said to feature a QHD display, 6GB/8GB RAM, and 64GB/128GB storage variants. With the launch date nearing, we might see some more leaks regarding the phone.

Since there is no Helio X30 smartphone commercially available in the market, we have reason to believe that this new device might just turn out to be the first handset which would go official with the Helio X30 running things on the inside.
